I’m an interior designer based in Houston, Texas, where I work at a full service design firm called, By Design Interiors. I eat, breath, and dream design. For as long as I can remember I’ve been creating things- from building a zip line in my backyard as a nine year old to designing and sewing a modest children’s clothing line in the early 90’s- design is what I love. I’m a wife, mother, lover of oxfords and snazzy tennis shoes, avid conversationalist, and a shopping fanatic.

I’ve created this blog to elaborate on design concepts from some of my recent design projects. I’ll also be sharing personal inspiration as well as the occasional tip or trick of the trade. I’m excited to share some of my passions with you and I hope that what you find here inspires you in one way or another.
